Frankincense + Lavender Tallow Balm

This balm is a blend of 100% grass-fed tallow, organic extra-virgin olive oil, frankincense essential oil, and lavender essential oil, whipped to a light creamy texture. In our home, this is our go-to facial moisturizer, night cream, and hand/body lotion.

INGREDIENTS:

100% Grass-Fed Beef Tallow deeply moisturizes and actually soaks into your skin, unlike a lot of other lotions that sit on your skin and leave it greasy. Great for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Tallow contains Omega-3 and 6 fatty acids, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, and Conjugated Linoleic Acid. The nutritional profile is also enhanced by the presence of some vitamin A, E, and K. Tallow is highly compatible with our skin, and it has been used as a skincare ingredient for centuries.

We use the highest quality tallow from 100% grass-fed, grass-finished cows, raised organically using regenerative agriculture practices. This method of raising beef produces the greatest levels of skin nutrients.

Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (organic) contains antioxidants, fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, and is commonly used to lock in moisture. It can also be helpful for soothing dry and irritated skin.

Frankincense Essential Oil is commonly used to decrease skin aging by tightening the skin and promoting cellular regeneration. It is also anti-inflammatory.

Lavender Essential Oil typically promotes relaxation, less anxiety, and better sleep.

How to Use: Use dry fingers when applying and avoid getting any moisture in the jar. If you find it feeling greasy on your skin, try using less. Store in a cool place and use within twelve months for optimal results. If it does melt, just place it in the refrigerator until firm again.
