Decorate Your Home With This Totally Customizable Wreath

Decorate Your Home With This Totally Customizable Wreath

This wreath is one of our favorite seasonal decorating hacks! Decor can pile up quickly, and then you have to store it the rest of the year. Instead, try customizing this simple floral hoop for each season. We just swap out the greenery/pine branches/flowers and the ribbon/twine, which is usually cheap or even free (use items you find in nature!).

Supplies:
Go to your local craft store (Michaels is our go-to) and pick up the following:

  • Wire floral hoop
  • Green floral wire
  • Greenery or flowers of your choice (fresh, dried, or artificial - here we used artificial flowers + dried eucalyptus)
  • Ribbon or twine for hanging

Instructions:

1. Cut the flowers down to a manageable length.
2. Start wrapping the floral wire around both the hoop and the flower/greenery stem to hold them together.
3. Continue to add flower stems while tightly wrapping the wire.
4. When you're happy with how it looks, cut the wire, make sure the end is securely wrapped in, and hang! We like to hang ours in the kitchen window.

Before attaching the flowers and eucalyptus shown here, this wreath was pine branches and the same eucalyptus with a green ribbon for a minimalist winter look. Enjoy creating your own beautiful combinations!
